A clear picture of how your mind works, not just a label
ADHD, autism, cognitive and learning assessments for children, teens and adults. Every report comes back in plain language, with recommendations you can actually hand to a school, workplace, or NDIS planner.
Who Books An Assessment
Common, specific reasons people come in
An assessment is worth doing when you want more than a hunch — here’s when that’s usually the case.
- A teacher or GP has raised ADHD or autism as a possibility, and you want a proper answer, not a guess.
- A child is falling behind in reading, writing or maths despite trying hard, and something isn’t adding up.
- You need documentation — for school, an NDIS plan, a workplace, or a specialist — to access support you already know you need.
- An adult has spent years masking or compensating, and wants to understand why certain things have always felt harder than they should.
Assessment Types
Autism Assessment
Considers communication style, sensory processing, routines and social interaction as differences to understand, not a checklist of deficits to score.
- Direct observation alongside interviews and questionnaires
- Available across the lifespan — early childhood through to adulthood
- A report focused on strengths as much as support needs
ADHD Assessment
Looks at attention, impulsivity, organisation and emotional regulation across settings — home, school or work — not just a single checklist in one room.
- Structured interviews with you and, where relevant, family or teachers
- Standardised rating scales and cognitive testing
- A written report with a clear diagnostic outcome either way
Cognitive Assessment
Maps how someone processes, reasons with and retains information — useful on its own, or as a foundation underneath an ADHD, autism or learning assessment.
- Standardised IQ and cognitive processing measures
- Identifies specific strengths, not just an overall score
- Informs recommendations for school or workplace adjustments
Learning and Educational Assessments
Looks specifically at reading, writing and maths skills against age expectations, to identify things like dyslexia, dyscalculia or dysgraphia.
- Academic achievement testing alongside cognitive measures
- A report schools can act on directly for adjustments or support
- Suitable for primary through to tertiary-aged students
Before You Book
What actually happens, from enquiry to report
A Short Intake Call With Our Admin Team
10–15 minutes to understand background and concerns, confirm which assessment fits, and match you with the right clinician.

Initial Consultation
A longer conversation with your clinician to gather history — developmental, educational, medical, whatever’s relevant — before any testing starts.
Assessment Sessions
Structured interviews, standardised testing and, where relevant, observation or questionnaires sent to a teacher or partner. Usually 1–3 sessions depending on the assessment type.

Report and Feedback Session
You get a full written report in plain language, walked through in a dedicated feedback session — not just emailed through with no context.
Fees and Funding
