Meet Our Team
JOANNA BENNET (SHE/HER)
DIRECTOR, EDUCATIONAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGIST & BOARD APPROVED SUPERVISOR
Joanna is experienced in providing neuroaffirming, trauma informed therapy and assessments for children and families across a wide range of presentations. Joanna has worked in a variety of settings including Early Childhood Intervention Services (ECIS), youth justice, and teaching and supervising postgraduate psychology students.
Joanna’s areas of interest and expertise include:
- Supporting neurodivergent children and families (such as autistic and ADHDers, and PDAers) to achieve goals around emotional regulation, developing coping skills, self-esteem, parenting, anxiety, school transition, friendships, and more.
- Conducting diagnostic assessments while utilising a neuroaffirming approach for diagnoses such as intellectual developmental disorder (intellectual disability), autism, and ADHD.
- Collaborating with families and educational staff to help children to thrive in a range of educational environments, such as childcare, kindergarten, and school.
Joanna works Monday-Friday across both our Heidelberg and Fairfield clinics.
In her space time, Joanna enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, baking, and playing board games and video games.



WAI GIT (CHRIS) (HE/HIM)
PSYCHOLOGIST – HEIDELBERG CLINIC
Chris is a registered psychologist with experience across school, clinic, and community settings. Chris’ areas of interest and experience include:
- Building confidence and resilience in young people
- Emotional regulation skills
- Anxiety, depression, and mood changes
- Special interest in teenagers and young adults
- Parenting support
- Psychological assessments including cognitive assessments, educational assessments (for specific learning disorders, such as dyslexia), and neurodivergence
Chris draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and play-based interventions to tailor sessions to each client’s developmental stage and individual strengths.
Chris works Monday-Friday at the Heidelberg clinic.

CARLY KOH (SHE/HER)
PSYCHOLOGIST – HEIDELBERG CLINIC
Carly is a registered psychologist experienced in supporting children, adolescents, and their families in a neuroaffirming manner. Carly is passionate about helping make a positive difference in people’s lives, and enjoys providing neuro-affirming therapy using evidence-based interventions, and conducting neurodevelopmental assessments.
Carly’s areas of interest and experience include:
- Anxiety and depression, separation anxiety
- Emotional and behavioural regulation, and challenging behaviours
- Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and school can’t
- Parenting support, particularly in blended families
- Assessments for cognitive and learning ability and neurodiversity, including autism and ADHD
Carly works Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Heidelberg clinic.

JAS SEKHON (SHE/HER)
PSYCHOLOGIST – HEIDELBERG CLINIC
Jas provides neuro-affirming therapy and assessments to children, adolescents, and adults. Jas welcomes clients of all cultural backgrounds and identities. Jas’ areas of interest and experience include:
- Neurodivergence (including female presentations)
- Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria
- Depression
- Anxiety and social anxiety
- Relationships
- Grief
- Life transitions, such as moving away from home, changing careers, relationship breakdowns or new relationships, attending university
- Phobias, including dog phobias
- Assessment of autism and ADHD (including female presentations), cognitive ability, and specific learning difficulties
- Short-term therapy for anxiety and depression
Jas often works with her therapy dog, Toozi. Together, they offer a comfortable, no pressure environment to share your experiences and help the healing process.

LINDA FOTHERGILL (SHE/HER)
PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST – FAIRFIELD CLINIC
Linda is a provisional psychologist who provides neuroaffirming support to children, young people and their families and has a background in disability support and advocacy. In her spare time Linda enjoys spending time with her kids and dog. Linda’s areas of interest and experience include:
- Anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation
- Parenting support, particularly families of neurodivergent children
- Life transitions and grief
- Neurodivergence and identity, including rejection sensitivity dysphoria (RSD) and diagnosis in adulthood (including female presentations)
- Psychological assessments – cognitive, educational/learning, autism and ADHD
Linda works Mondays, Wednesdays (fortnightly), and Fridays at the Fairfield clinic.

HANNAH TUNCER (SHE/HER)
PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST – HEIDELBERG CLINIC
Hannah is a provisional psychologist who is currently completing her PhD in Educational and Developmental Psychology. Hannah began practising in 2023, following the completion of her placements as part of her Masters degree. Hannah’s area’s of interest and experience include:
- Supporting neurodivergent children and adolescents using neuroaffirming practice
- School can’t, separation anxiety, self-esteem and identity
- Parenting support, particularly with neurodivergent families
- Collaborating with schools and care teams to support families, including advocacy
- Neurodevelopmental assessments including cognitive assessments, educational assessments (for specific learning disorders), ADHD and autism
Hannah strives to create sessions that are safe, engaging, and enjoyable and she also values the use of play-based approaches to help her clients feel comfortable, engaged, and supported.
Hannah works Mondays and Wednesdays at the Heidelberg clinic.

CHARLOTTE HEWETT (SHE/HER)
PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST – FAIRFIELD CLINIC
Charlotte is a warm and bubbly practitioner who provides neuroaffirming therapy and assessments to children (6+ years), adolescents, and young adults. Charlotte welcomes clients of all cultural backgrounds and identities.
Charlotte’s areas of interest and experience include:
- Neurodivergence (including female presentations)
- Therapy for anxiety and depression
- Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD)
- Depression
- Anxiety and social anxiety
- Relationships

PAUL MITCHELL (HE/HIM)
PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST – FAIRFIELD CLINIC
Paul is a friendly and supportive provisional psychologist with qualifications from Melbourne, Monash and Deakin Universities, as well as the Institute for Social Neuroscience.
Paul has experience working with people across the lifespan through therapy, assessment, support with activities of daily life. As a former specialist school teacher, Paul also has experience helping young people navigate stressful experiences relating to education and development.
Paul loves games, movies, sports, music, and learning about people’s own hobbies as well!
Paul works Mondays-Fridays at the Fairfield Clinic.

EDITH RORKE (SHE/THEY)
PRACTICE MANAGER
Edith is a former museums and galleries educator passionate about creating welcoming and inclusive spaces where individuals and families feel comfortable and supported. Edith hopes to continue building a neuroaffirming and empowering environment that prioritises wellbeing and inclusivity for all. Outside of work, Edith is an avid reader and more often than not can be found curled up with a good book, cup of tea and her cats.
Edith works Mondays-Thursdays across both our Heidelberg and Fairfield clinics.

HANNAH PERRY
Hannah has recently completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and is passionate about supporting the wellbeing and development of young people. After her post-graduate studies, Hannah would like to work with children and adolescents and has a particular interest in educational and developmental psychology. Hannah strives to create a welcoming environment where children and families feel heard and understood.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending her free time reading, baking, and hanging out with her pets.

CHARLOTTE HUNTINGTON
Charlotte has completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and is currently completing a second undergraduate degree in Nutrition Science. She is passionate about both mental and physical wellbeing and hopes to work in the community, supporting people to improve their overall health and quality of life. Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys playing tennis, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with a cup of tea.

SARAH GILL
Sarah is currently studying her Bachelor of Psychology and is keenly interested in supporting children and families after completing her studies. Her passion for health and wellness shapes the way she approaches her work, helping clients feel welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive.
When she’s not studying or working, Sarah can usually be found working on her fitness, reading, making things with her hands, and enjoying time with her two kids.
